School Team Selection

Hi all, there will be a school team selection event on the 16th Dec.It's the perfect chance prove your ability to us and who knows, you might be chosen! The interview will be conducted in groups but only 6 candidate will be chosen to be part of the school team. However, do note that ONLY Air Pistol Women and Air Rifle Men are able to participate in the selection of the school team.

If you are interested in being part of the school team please reply via email to cca_shooting@np.edu.sg to let us know that you will be there for the interview. Hurry up cause there's limited vancancy left! See you there.

Committee AY 09/10

Last week(21/11/08) was our AGM and also our 2nd anniversary

For those who are not able to attend or did not catch what we are showing on the PowerPoint slides,NO worries. I will summaries everything.

Club Mission:

-To promote club within NP
-To make the club recognized in the local shooting scene

Club Vision: To pave the way for the Shooting Sport at Polytechnic level

An Introduction to the Competition Field‏

Hi all,

I guess some of you might have heard that we will be organizing a bi-monthly shoot later this month. However before that, we will be holding a workshop to let our shooters to familiarise themselves with the competiton format, the basic Rules & Regulations etc.

1. We will also be guiding you as to how to gear up your equipments for Competitions.

2. You will get to learn how a actual competition runs. Get involved in Scoring for the competition.

3. Other than introducing the Competition Field of Indoor Air Weapons, we will be also briefly touch on other copmetition formats like .22 Free Pistol and 50m Smallbore Rifle, which are live-firing events.

Location: HomeTeamNS @ Bukit Batok (HTNS, our usual training place)
Time: 7pm
Date: 17 or 18 Sept 2008

Attending this workshop does not mean you will have to shoot in a competition in the future. So don't be shy to come and learn.

It will be a enjoyable day for you and us.

Please remember to reply with your choice of date by Monday(15/09/2008) when registering for your participation.

P.S To some queries made, there will be no fees collected and there isn't a fixed number of slots for the number of participants on both days.

NPSC PAINTBALL EVENT!!

For all of you guys who sign up and paid for the paintball event.. Thanks!!



For the paintball event, It will be on 3rd September 2008, a Wednesday, 10 am to 1pm!! We will be meeting on that day, at 9.15am at Khatib Mrt Station!! Dun be late!! okaY??



And for those who didnt bring the Indemnity form and those who made half the payment, please DO REMEMBER to bring the other $25 and the Indemnity Form!!!



I will send out another email to all of you one week before the event and also on two days before the event!!



THINGS TO BRING:



1. Indemnity Form for those who didnt give to me for safekeeping

2. $25 if you didnt make full payment

3. Extra clothes for changing

4. Towel for showering (there is a separate showering room for guys and girls, ok.. like duh.. rite?)

5. Extra money for lunch after the event

(Or maybe just in-case you want to be lazy and cab home. But i suggest bring more than 20 bucks in total. Due to the rapid increased of taxi fare.
ok.. Jus think abt it. Boarding Fee : $3.10. ECP: Woah. $2? for peak hrs? ok. erm.
Oil charges: 30cents. Den Peak hrs another amount of money... SEE!!! YOU CAN'T SURVIVE IN THE CAB FOR 1 MIN WITH 10 BUCKS. ahem* point taken? - Fine, i was jus being lame and crapping about erm. the nation issues now. so jus IGNORE me. HAHA!!) -Damala



What to wear on that day:

1. Long Sleeve shirts or shirts, no need to wear branded shirts!!

2. Long pants is a must!! Don't wear 3/4 pants or P.e Shorts!! Must be long pants!!

3. Covered shoes!! Adidas, Nike, New balance, Secondary school shoes.. Anything that covers your entire foot!!

4. Socks!!

5. Gloves if you have.. Must be a pair for both hands!!

Paintball event!! Very Important!!

Hey guys,

For the payment of the paintball event, the date set is 13 august 2008, timing will be at 5pm at the atrium, or you guys can email me @ seiji_tetsuya@hotmail.com on which day to meet up and pay, together with the indemnity form. So basically, any day of next week (till next week wednesday) is okay to pay up. But the deadline is 13th august, so i need you all to pay either half or full payment with the indemnity form as fast as possible in order to facilitate the processing.

Please do pay up with the money and indemnity form filled in to me (Kok Loon) or either to one of my assistant's in charge, ken yap or mohammad ashryll. I know its the exam week, all the organisers are also having their exams, but still we need you guys to cooperate and pass us the money and filled in indemnity form as fast as possible. Thanks.

Club membership & Training Days Info.

Hi,

We hope that you had enjoy your basic shooting course on Saturday 19/07/08.Here are a few things that we would like to confirm with you.1st)

Club Membership:
This club membership allows our own members to shoot and train under the school affiliate membership. Membership fee cost $10 per annun. If you are interested you can pay us the membership on the training days that you had chosen.2nd)

Training Days(Only for those who are interested in joining as club member):
Timing for Tuesday to Friday will be 6.00pm to 8.45pm Tuesday and Thursday - Air Rifle
Wednesday and Friday - Air Pistol

Saturday: Only On every EVEN week
Air Pistol: 10a.m to 1p.m
Air Rifle: 1p.m to 4p.m

What you need to do is reply this email with the respective training days that you want to come down and pay us with the membership fee.

Each training session will cost $2 per hour.

PAINTBALL EVENT IS FINALLY HERE!!!

Hey Guys!!!

I'm sorry for the late post.. Anyway, the club is gonna hold a PAINTBALL EVENT!!! (you know wad tat means rite? its time for REVENGE!!! ... *read between the lines*)

... ok MAYBE, some of you don't really get wad i am trying to imply...

so.. AHEM.. i mean how often do you get a chance to shoot someone literally? uh huh.. so get it?
HAHA!!!

Ok.. I will cut my crap and go straight to the details..

Date: 3rd September 2008(Held during the holidays on a week day.)

Time: 9am to 9pm (Depending on which day the time slot that is free.)

Location: Red Dynasty paintball at yishun (bottle Tree Park, 81 Lorong Chencharu, Yishun)
Amount of participants: Capped at 40 pax ( 1st come, 1st served , Only left 2 seats to be taken up.)

Package:

PACKAGE D - RAMBO (250 paintballs per pax) - $49.90 per pax One man with one mission: Destroy the opposition and survive! With 250 paintballs assigned to you, you are fearless and dangerous. Immerse in a fun day of shooting, hiding and capturing the flag! As our most popular package, this will guaranteed you with a full paintball experience. Suitable for team building games amongst friends, colleagues and families. Special events such as birthday parties, hen and stag parties, carnivals, companies retreats, outdoor adventure activities, tournaments and more...
- Estimated game duration is about 2 - 3 hours which includes safety briefing.

Info on Sentosa EVENT!! (FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND SENIORS ONLY)

Hi ALL,

There will be an event going on at sentosa during this saturday, 17th May 2008!!! (Organised by: Morgan and Daniel, thus you guys better show up!!! hahah..)

We will be meeting at harbourfront mrt control station at 10am! We will be going for lunch first before we go to sentosa.

Items to bring:
1. Everyone is to bring one 1.5L softdrink each.

2. Money ($7 for the dinner, and enough money to settle ur things if u wan to buy anything)

3. Frisbee, soccer ball, volleyball, any kind of beach games lah.. (Bring any of these if you have it.. thanks!!! )

4. Swim wear, underwear, anything u can wear, just bring it.. But remember, its a beach event, Pls Bring the necessary stuff!! Thanks!!

(Fine! I know.. the Title tells it all.. and i bet you guys will know this by now.. but i am jus putting it here.. so it will look as if i have stuff to update you guys on.. hahah..)

We are organising an outing at sentosa siloso beach, details are as follow:

Time: 12p.m
Date: 17th May 2008, Saturday
Meeting Place: Siloso beach station
Things to Bring: Water Bottles, volley ball, soccer ball ETC (anything that you can play on the beach :P) and a extra set of clothing for changes.

Please bring along $7 for this event to cover up your PIZZA DINNER and enough money for personal use. (Entrance fee will not be included in the $7)

Also please have your lunch before you go as lunch will not be provided.

Training schedule (May)

Here it is.. (Ok.. I am FINALLY gonna say smth productive on this blog.. so ya..)

The training venue will be at bukit gombak HTNS lvl 2

The timing for the training will be:

6pm-9pm for wednesday's training
10am -1pm for saturday's training

As there are ongoing events that are being held on the Saturdays there will not be any training on saturdays for the whole month of may.

We will also be collecting $10 per year membership during this wednesday at the range. As for the training itself, there might be delays due to the amount of people turning up for the training, so there might be a shortage of lanes for training.

For those attending the training this wednesday, please take note to wear a shirt, jeans and covered shoes (Eg, sneakers) to training.
