NP Shooting Club's 1st RunOut....

After much anticipation, NP Shooting finally had their debut shoot-out. With an overall crowd of over 30 participants, we started the first session with the AirWeapon-familiarising course. The course was conducted at the Bukit Batok CDANS Air Gun Range. It stretched through from 9am to 1pm, with some basic introduction of the Air Weapon and Safety handling of Air Weapon.

After a brief introduction, the crowd was split into two – the Air Rifle group and the Air Pistol Group. Coach Winnie conducted the Air Rifle group, and Coach Rahim conducted the Air Pistol group.

The two groups started getting more in-depth with their disciplines with correct technique of shooting. They have learnt how a good shooter have to maintain a good stance, the correct positioning of the vision of the master eye, the positioning of the Front Post, and the Rear Aperture, the correct breathing technique, the Side Alignment, and lastly the trigger control.

After much tryout, and with the patient coaching from our two experienced coach, it was quite a success for today’s course, and confidently, our shooters are on their way for this Air Gun journey.

We would like to once again thank all participants who attended the practice and not to forget the coaches, Coach Winnie and Coach Rahim, for their time and patience in making this practice a success.

NP Shooting's 1st annoucement

Ladies & gentlemen... NP Shooting Club will be holding a course for keen learners like you & me this Saturday(25/11/2006) from 9am ~ 1pm.

This Course will include 2hrs of Theory lesson & 2hrs Practical Session($30-members, $35-non members), which means you're gonna shoot on the 1st day of lesson already. So what you guyz are waiting for...????

However, before we head off to this new & exciting adventure.... whats a club w/o fun & activities??? so we're gonna organize activities to make this special journey as fun as possible... & therefore, we need all the ideas, suggestions from each & every1 of you...

The shooting sports is govern by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF)are generally categorize into: Shot gun, Rifles, Pistols and Moving targets.Each of these categories are sub-dived into the different events. Example, pistol events are: air pistol, standard pistol, free pistol, centre fire and sports pistol. Each of these events are compete differently using different types of specialize guns and have different degree of challenges.
